BetFTW, short for Bet For The Win, is an independent sports prediction publisher. It publishes picks for football, basketball, tennis and ice hockey, and keeps a public record of how every one of them settled. In the 12 months to 30 October 2026, it settled 73,343 picks in 773 competitions.
1. What BetFTW does
BetFTW has published sports predictions since 2016. Each day it compares estimated probabilities for upcoming events with the best bookmaker odds it can find, and publishes a pick when the price offers enough calculated edge. Every pick has its own page with the probability, the odds, the stake band and, after the event, the result.
2. How the picks are made
BetFTW does not invent its own match ratings. It collects event probabilities from sport-specific prediction data sources, compares each one with the probability implied by the recorded bookmaker odds, and sizes the edge with the Kelly criterion. The methodology explains each step@if((bool) config('seo.features.guides', true)), and the guides explain the ideas behind it@endif.
3. How results are recorded
Published picks stay published. When an event finishes, each pick is settled as won, lost or void at the best odds recorded before the event and at its recorded stake. The performance pages show the record by sport, market, stake band and competition, with a report for every completed month.

4. Independence and funding
BetFTW is not a bookmaker and does not take bets. It does not earn commission for sending readers to any operator, and bookmaker names appear only as the source of a recorded price. The site is funded by advertising, as described in the privacy policy.
5. Responsible use
Predictions are information, not advice, and past results do not guarantee future ones. BetFTW is for adults aged 18 or over. If betting stops being fun, the Responsible Use page lists free, confidential support. To get in touch, see Contact.
