How accumulators work
An accumulator combines several selections into one bet that wins only if every leg wins. Its odds are the product of the legs' odds. In the 12 months to 30 October 2026, BetFTW settled 964 accumulators across four sports with a +31.6% Kelly-weighted yield.
How the odds and the probability multiply
Three legs at 1.80, 1.90 and 2.00 combine to odds of 1.80 × 1.90 × 2.00 = 6.84. If the legs are independent, their probabilities multiply too: legs with a 60%, 55% and 52% chance win together 0.60 × 0.55 × 0.52 = 17.2% of the time. The bet is value only if that combined probability is above 1 ÷ 6.84 = 14.6%.
The bookmaker's margin multiplies in the same way, so a long accumulator of small-margin prices can carry a large total margin. One losing leg loses the whole bet. When a leg is void, most bookmakers remove it and settle the rest at the remaining odds.
How BetFTW builds its accumulators
Each sport gets at most one accumulator per day. BetFTW takes that day's unsettled picks priced below 3.00, in order of stake score, one pick per match. It adds legs while the combined estimated probability stays at or above 20% and the combined odds stay at or below 25, and publishes the accumulator only if at least two legs qualify. Once published, its legs are not changed.
